Medical History and Drug Interactions
You provide us with an honest health history during our initial intake process and continually update when necessary. This is for your own safety, in case there may be any risks for any particular types of treatment.

It is important you arrive not under the influence of drugs or alcohol up to 24 hours before your appointment. Please inform your therapist if any pain medications have been taken within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment. Consumption of certain substances can affect depth perception and may contribute to unpleasant side effects of massage (like soreness or nausea).

Balanced Blood Sugar
It is best to eat light meals before a treatment (unless discussed otherwise with your therapist). Overeating and hunger pangs during a massage can undermine relaxation and cause unpleasant effects. It is best if your blood sugar levels are balanced.

Hydration
Proper hydration is highly recommended. You will maximize the overall effectiveness of your treatment, meanwhile minimizing soreness and discomfort. Best of all, you will have a very happy therapist.

Personal Hygiene
Please come clean, having showered the day of your session. Please make your therapist aware of any rashes, warts or other contagious conditions you are experiencing.

Sexual Boundaries
All services offered at Resonance Center are non-sexual. Sexual harassment and vulgar language is not tolerated. Massage clients are draped at all times during the session. Only the parts of the body being worked on are exposed at any time. The genitals are never exposed or massaged. If our safety feels compromised, the session will end immediately.

Payment
Payment is expected at the time the treatment is rendered. Any other arrangement must be made prior to treatment. We accept cash, check, and Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards.

24-Hour Cancellation Policy
If cancellation is necessary, you must provide a 24 hours notice or you will be charged 50% of you scheduled treatment, unless your appointment can be filled. Emergency cancellations will be determined at our discretion.

Emotional Release During a Session
Emotional releases are not uncommon when receiving bodywork. This is quite normal and natural. If you experience an ER during your session, please be honest and open with how we can best support you.

Our Promise to You
You will be provided a competent and profession session each time you receive a treatment at Resonance Center. With your honest communication and feedback, we will do our best to address your needs each and every visit.

We only provide services for which we are qualified, and are physically and emotionally able. We will refer you to an appropriate specialist when work is not within our scope of practice and/or not in your best interest.

Personal and professional boundaries are respected at all times. Privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times.

Our facility and equipment is clean and safe. We use only natural, hypoallergenic and effective cleaning agents.

You may reach us directly by phone or e-mail. We return calls within 48 hours and respond to emails as promptly as we can. You can book an appointment anytime online by clicking the button on the top of the sidebar on every page of this site.

If the practitioner you are working with must cancel an appointment, they will do so within 24 hours. If an emergency arises and they are unable to keep an appointment, we will provide $10 discount on your next treatment. This does not include reschedules due to weather.

We charge fair prices for our services. Sliding scale fees may be applied at our discretion. We do offer a senior discount for clients over 62 and for full-time students. Purchasing your treatments in packages also affords you with lower rates.

Our Clients are treated with dignity and respect. You are respected regardless of age, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, socio-economic status, body-type, political affiliation, and state of health or personal habits.
